Weekly Update: Sales, Secret Projects, and Wattpad!

Look at me, blogging again!

It has been a long, long time since I've been around regularly and I do apologize for that. Things got bad for a period there - between losing my grandfather, dealing with health issues, and just dealing with anxiety and depression - I had no business writing. Writing for me is an escape. If I'm in a dark place? That's what I'm, unfortunately, going to write. So, I took some time off. Okay. More like A LOT of time off.

I'm back now, though! And I'm in a good place. I do still have a fair amount of health issues, but I'm learning to cope with them. I'm working on new books. In fact, I've been writing every day after work. I haven't had that drive in too long. I am nearly finished with MY SOUL TO SAVE, a novella that will (hopefully) be a part of novella collection from InkSpell. If not? Well, expect to see it come June.

It's a return to the world of YA fiction for me after working in NA fiction with the COLLIDE series these past two years. It's adorable and I'm enjoying every moment of working in this world. It's also a standalone. (If you've read the COLLIDE series and liked it, reviews would be awesome!)

I also started a brand new novel titled HUNTED. That one will be finished by July. It's going to clock in around 65K words. I can't promise that I'll self-publish it as soon as it is done. I do want to attempt submitting it beforehand. We'll see.

OTHER THINGS I'M WORKING ON:

1. SERAPHINA: Yes, this one is seriously almost done. It was put on pause for MY SOUL TO SAVE and HUNTED. However, with MY SOUL TO SAVE nearly complete, I plan on knocking out the rest of SERAPHINA first. Expected publication: August 2020. (This could change.)
2. SECRET BOOK: Yes, there's another book I haven't talked about... at all. You won't hear much about it either until it's complete. I do have a cover for it. It's easily one of my favorites. It is a novel and will be around 65K words. Like HUNTED, it is also a standalone. Right now, I can't commit to a new series. Expected Publication: TBD.
3. RELEASE: The book I shelved about two years ago. Yes, it's really happening. I don't know what happened, or how it happened, but I finally came up with a storyline that I love about a month ago. The long time gap between the sequel and the original novel will be explained. It will also introduce you to a new set of characters that I already love. Expected publication: December 2020/January 2021.
4. REBIRTH: PARTS 2, 3, and 4: These are all underway. I'm in the midst of scheduling them. PART 2 will be out soon. I can't promise a date, though. It's hard to want to work in that world right now given how crappy reality already is, haha. Soon, though!
5. GROW UP AND BLOW AWAY: This book, guys. I've written numerous versions of this book throughout the years. It's a personal passion project. 2020 looks to be the year it finally gets released. I don't know when you'll see it, as I'm going to be writing it directly on Wattpad again, but it's coming! It's a NA contemporary novel. So, if you like my COLLIDE series? You'll love this one.
