- Allegiance is done and currently with my betas. There will need to be a few tweaks before it is ready for the public, but I'm quite happy with it. Especially the ending. I've said this before, but I think I need to say it again: Things get crazy in Deprogrammed.
- I'm working on the chapter from Capture (also coming on the 25th), as well as the Is Love series. I'm super excited because, after this, I get to dive back into Collide.
- Submerged is officially in the query stage. I hate this part of writing, I genuinely do, mainly because I suck at writing query letters, but the least they can do is say no, right? I'm currently waiting on a response from one publisher in particular, if they reject the title, I'm going to self-publish it. If I do that, you can expect it around March 2013 (this way I'll have time to hire an editor and such). And for those of you who don't follow me on Twitter: I've decided to write a sequel to Submerged. So Submerged will now be the first of a duology. I'm super excited, yet also terrified to jump back into Taylen's world.
- Back to Collide: I'm going to have to change the name of Cole. If you have some name suggestions, feel free to post them below. If I pick your suggestion, you'll receive a special "thank you" in the acknowledgements of Collide when it is published in February.
- And a final note: The digital shorts for the Emile Reed series will be published in a paperback collection in late 2013 (after New Beginnings is released).

ReplyDeleteAs for Cole's name... well I actually liked the name Cole, so I'm curious as to why it has to change? But I have plenty of male name suggestions, but I'm not sure if they're what your looking for. The name has to fit the character, and I don't know much about him! Except that this book is NA - which I'm really excited about. Okay, so, names:

I'm changing his name mainly because I'm seeing a lot of Cole's in books, and after getting yelled out by a reader for Capture using a stock image from another book (which came out after Capture), I'm trying to make sure I can separate Collide from other books. It's just a cautious measure, haha. (I'm sure I'm already going to get remarks over the stock image used for the cover.)
