My Review:
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Actual rating: 4.5/5 Stars
SUFFOCATE is an action-packed novelette that will leave readers desperate for more.
SUFFOCATE is the first in a planned novelette series. It is about Eria, a young girl whose world will forever change when her father steps outside of the Bio-Suit. I had a feeling that something bad was coming before Dr. Stevenson stepped outside, but when the truth about his death was revealed, it came as a complete surprise.
I found the world that Johannes created to be well crafted, and I'm eager to see where she takes the story now that
Eria is outside of the Biome.
.
Even though this was a novelette (only around 15,000 words), it still kept me on the edge of my seat as I turned the pages. There was so much emotion and action packed within this short story, it was impossible to put down.
If you're looking for a short story full of action, I'd highly suggest checking out SUFFOCATE.
