It's almost here!
Thanks for the Venom will officially be released on August 9th. It feels like forever ago since I submitted the story to InkSpell, when in actuality, it has only been about a year or so. This book is something I never thought I would finish. It sat in a folder on my computer for years as a story titled Hunted. All I knew was that it was about a vampire slayer and hybrids. Everything else? I had no clue what to do with the story.
Then, while I was frustrated working on another book, I returned to Hunted to finish Harley's story.
As someone who loved - and still loves - Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I had a blast writing this book. I'm thrilled with the name change we selected. I like the cover that our cover designer came up with. More importantly, though, I'm grateful to Melissa and InkSpell for giving Harley and Drake a chance to have their story be told.
As it stands, Thanks for the Venom will only be available in eBook -- unless we magically sell enough copies to get a paperback edition. At some point, I will work on getting an audiobook made, as I do retain the audiobook rights, but it'll be some time yet.
For now, check out the cover and be sure to get your pre-orders in wherever eBooks are sold!
Harley Sanders has always known one certainty in life: Vampires suck.
As a student at the League, Harley is expected to protect the innocent from the undead, even if her methods might be considered reckless.
While out on a hunt, Harley finds herself face-to-face with the enemy, and in the midst of fighting, ends up becoming the one thing she’s been trained to kill.
A fact only made worse by the newest student of the League who has taken a keen interest in her out of the blue.
Vampire bite? Check.
Venom soaring through my veins? Check.
Annoying cute guy disrupting my life? Super check.
High school definitely bites.
THANKS FOR THE VENOM is a Buffy/Underworld Mash-up where Harley Sanders must face a wall of secrets…from her family, from her bosses, and from the one boy she’s interested in. With newfound powers and a bullseye on her back, she’s got to help the very people she’d been trained to kill. And you thought your high school experience was bad…You’ve got nothing on Harley!
