I've had to take a lot of breaks recently on the blog.
Unfortunately, 2013 just hasn't been my year so far. Too much loss. Too much pain. And not enough time to grieve. I've been constantly going, trying to meet my self-imposed deadlines between working full-time and dealing with things at home. As you can see, that hasn't gone over too well.
I missed the deadline I set for Deprogrammed... big time, and for that I am truly sorry.
I hadn't meant for ANY of this to happen, but that is the funny thing about life, it does when it wants without any warning. The book is almost done, so it will go up rather soon, I just need to finish this last round of edits, because I know I've missed a lot of crap trying to edit with my head elsewhere. So I can promise, it will be available soon. Really soon.
Once I hit publish on Deprogrammed, I'm going to be taking two weeks off from writing to focus on my TBR pile (which is pretty darn high at the moment). After my short break, I will be turning my attention back to Standby. Then I'm going to work on Collide and Deoding Evie, and after that, I'm taking another short break before I finish the rest of the Emile Reed series.
I love you guys, seriously, you're ALL amazing and I appreciate your patience with me.
For those that haven't heard, No Place Like Home is now available as an audiobook. To celebrate the release, I'm going to giveaway four copies. I'll have the giveaway up tomorrow, so definitely keep an eye out for that. =)
Also, the audiobook for Is Love: Volume 1 will be available soon. Because it is a novelette and I don't set the price (I don't know what Audible will charge), I've decided to do something for those of you that purchase the audiobook for Is Love: Volume 1. If you purchase the audiobook and send me your receipt (e-mail: NicoleWritesYA@gmail.com), I'll send you all three volumes in eBook format.
And finally, the blog tour for Program 13 just kicked off! I'm over at The Eater of Books today, talking about my character names (post here)!
<3 Nicole
