News: THANKS FOR THE VENOM + More!

Hey guys!

I hope you're all doing well. I'm actually here to share some news for once. I'm excited to announce THANKS FOR THE VENOM will finally be out in August. Pre-order links will be live in July. This one is coming out through InkSpell Publishing. As of now, it is eBook only, however, if sales are good enough, a paperback edition is feasible!

I'm currently hard at work on TIME AFTER TIME. Honestly, this book has been a hard one for me to write because it took a hard left turn from my outline. But! I'm happy with how it is going and I've even uploaded multiple, unedited chapters on Wattpad. I should note, though, that this book will see some drastic edits once it is complete, so expect it to change. The plan is to submit it by August, however, as it is a weird little book, I'm not sure it'll find a home -- we'll see. If the publishers I intend to submit to reject it, this is one I can release ASAP.

After that? I want to focus on DEADLY LITTLE SECRET and LEAVE ME HAUNTED. I have other ideas I want to work on, but I need to finish those stories first, so that's my current line-up of what is in the works. (Note: Both of these titles will be going on submission to publishers; if they don't find homes, I will self-publish them in 2023.)

And now for some random mumblings...

I'd love to have a new Christmas novella ready for this year, but I just don't have the time.

I am still working on getting all of my books in hardcover. I'm trying to make the hardcover covers myself, which is why it is taking so long. It's all brand new to me. With the hardcover editions, I also want to format the interior. The goal is to have those out by December. Fingers crossed.

BOOK BLOGGERS: If you'd like a digital ARC copy of THANKS FOR THE VENOM, I currently have them through Book Sprout. I'm also planning an official cover reveal for July 8th, so feel free to reach out if you'd like to participate.

Here's an unedited snippet from TIME AFTER TIME:

I thought back to the accident and the way the car behind me continued to close the gap between us. I had clearly been their target. I just hadn’t known why.

Bits and pieces continued to pour in, but none of the puzzle pieces ever truly aligned. It was as though a signal had been lost; the memories were there, they were just hidden beneath a cloud of static, eager to be uncovered.

I need to get out of here, I thought.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I needed to calm down. My heart was racing with fear, and I knew what would soon come would be yet another ending to my story. At least temporarily. They always brought me back in due time. “Who do you mean by we?”

“Why all the questions?” Marie teased. “You’ve never been this talkative before.”

I tried to recall the past times; hoping to recover any bits of information Marie had given me in earlier sessions, but nothing came to mind. It was almost as though they’d completely wiped by mind. But despite all of their best efforts, they could never delete him from my story.

I just wished I knew his name. “He’s coming for me, isn’t he?”
